Nice little guide! I used to do this a lot. On my OS, it allows me to rename the file extension just by using the right click>rename function. It's a good way to hide things, such as porn.

I'm talking about huge zip folders full of porn. It's really nice if anyone sees my folder to see they are all just images that don't load, with a folder called "Wallpapers" it's pretty discreet, mixed with a few actual desktop wallpapers.
