How can i get kali to use wireless

You'll likely have to connect via cable ethernet and install your WiFi drivers as well as configure the device to connect to your network. I think Kali comes with network-manager but I prefer wicd with a GUI.

Could you provide the output of this command in a root terminal?

This will tell us if you have a wireless interface.
