1. Press the windows key, and R at the same time

2. Type "msconfig" no speech marks

3.  Then Goto Boot/Advanced Options

4. Select number of processors and then select how ever many you like and press apply.

Sorry i meant processors* i recommend using all cores!

When i looked i brought my laptop it used 1 core. Now it uses all cores.

When i looked i brought my laptop it used 1 core. Now it uses all cores.

That's not something you should be changing in windows, that's a bios setting. Seeing how this is a windows setting, that wouldn't even take place till after windows is loaded. So it doesn't even affect the boot time.
