Very nice! I'm the opposite of that. I started out with programming and moved onto GFX, though I have done both at the same time in the pas
I'm the same, I did some programming in the past. I started creating web designs when I was around 11, but a web design is nothing without converting it to html/css (if you consider that programming).. Lately I've been doing quite a bit with javascript, some python.

Nice man. I started out with basic HTML and JS, but CSS became my favorite, just because that was more for the design of things, I turned more toward design than structure.

I need to spend some time learning HTML5 and CSS3. There is so much more you can do now'days that you couldn't do back then. Back then if you wanted to do animations, you had to learn flash (eww), now you can do a lot with transitions and transformations as I'm sure you're probably aware.

Tell me about it. I used to make images in Microsoft Paint, make Icons, Cursors, you name it. Everything is easier now, but I do still enjoy nostalgia.

Oh man, don't remind me. I remember my first web design was made in paint, it was horrendous. Of course, this was back in like 1996, so most websites were pretty bad.

I remember having to wait 10 minutes just for one page to load. Those were the good old days.

I even miss the dial up connection, where I could walk to the store for a coffee and when I got back, it was only just logging in. ^^

Exactly. I do miss my old programming days, but the only programming I come close to now is CSS.
